Mottisfont Collection - Painted Pine Furniture This range of painted Pine furniture is phenomenally popular and the reason is that it is well made from substantial timbers, is great value and has a very mellow waxed or painted finish depending upon the option you choose. The collection offers something for everyone and it can be customised in that we give customers the choice of wooden knobs or metal handles to compliment their choice of waxed, cream or white painted finish. The paint finish is mildly distressed and then a coat of wax is applied over the top to give it a soft, silky look and feel. We offer a bespoke service with this collection so if you cannot see what you want, please email us and we will do our best to fulfill your requirements.

The Range is made from a mixture of new and reclaimed timber. The reclaimed timbers used are generally 80- 150 years old and are reclaimed from demolition of old houses and dwellings. The wood is selected for its wonderful colour and grain, giving each pieces a genuine antique look that is not possible to obtain using new timber. The construction of this collection, in our opinion, exceeds the standards of most ranges of reclaimed furniture found in the UK marketplace today. All drawers are dovetailed and mortice and tenon joints are used on all doors. Also apparent is the substantial timber used throughout which ensures a solid and robust piece that will last for more than a life time.
