Chest carcase Top is constructed using a 40mm solid ash frame with exposed mortice and tennon jointing into which is inset a 15mm ash veneer faced plywood panel. 15mm plywood side panels with Ash Veneer, solid ash frame.
Carcase assembly fittings metal cam dowels, wood dowels, screws & panel pins.
Chest drawers 18mm solid ash front with Ash veneer, 12mm solid Palomia drawer sides & 3.6mm plywood baseboard. Drawer sides are stained a complimenting colour.
Drawer runners solid hardwood.
Drawer assembly fittings wood scews & wood handles.
External finish A balancing stain is applied by hand to even out the natural wood variation's, this is followed by a coat of tinted lacquer. A final hand sanding process is followed by a finishing coat of tinted lacquer.
